wpForo or bbPress

I am thinking of using forum software alongside a WordPress blog. Which one do you think is the better option?

I know both of them are basic. But when compared, wpForo seems to have more features than bbPress which appears a bit too basic to me.

If you are going to use one of these, wpForo looks much better than bbPress to me. Let us hope it has good enough spam protection.

I will go with wpForo this time then. Try locally first and then use it on the blog.

I may install it on my server and try a test site just to see.

I am yet to set up a local install. I want to stay with WordPress and still be able to post updates. Editing a blog post will be too much work. What do you say?

It should be easy enough, I will let you know how it goes when I get some time ill install it.

wpForo is good, but a bit complex back-end in my opinion. Maybe because I am using it for the first time lately.

I am seriously thinking about using a Facebook group or something similar. I know it has less control over the content, but marketing is very easy that way.

I have never used FB in that manner, I'm old school and love to work on forums.
