WordPress itself is generally ok (I say that loosely as vulnerabilities are discovered frequently). Most vulnerabilities are created by plugin authors who write insecure code. It's only a security risk if you do not take the necessary steps to secure it.

I have kept you article for serious reading. When I have time and my mind is clear. But I am sure you have mentioned about plugins in there. I have heard this before as well.

You know, WordPress is so easy that we can manage without using a single line of code. Perhaps that is its greatest drawback too. 🤔
