Upgrade policy

How often do you upgrade to minor and major versions of your CMS ? Be it Joomla, Drupal or WordPress.

Do you wait a bit or hit the " upgrade " button as soon as possible ? Which one is wise ?

Be very careful when click the " upgrade " button. Proper backups first. Even with that, give it a bit of time before going on with it. If nothing else, Windows 10 has taught us that much.

That is true. I always was quick enough to click the update button.

That is what you should do. I simply got myself into a few " update gone wrong situations ". Now I learned to be cautious.

You got host backup, right ? Even if our own backup gone wrong.

I like to do it the safe way. A bit of delay is not going to cost much.
