I was helping someone get hands-on with some Tailwind CSS components as Tailwind CSS does not offer them along with their default package. Whatever they have are paid options.

I think we can find many options on the internet though. People has worked on Tailwind CSS and created free, useful and interesting components.

My favourite so far is

https://tailblocks.cc/

Looks good too

I am getting used to Tailwind. But I still love Boostrap for being simple and straightforward.

You need to remember a lot of new things when it comes to Tailwind. I am getting a lot help from the backend staff here and other resources.

There are many 3rd party components. The authors are calling it " Utiity First", perhaps a nice name for _components are paid_. Nevertheless, if you want to try something other than Bootstrap, which has got tons of free supports and components and modifications, Tailwind CSS is worth a try.

But I am a pampered Bootstrap user. It is very interesting to copy paste _pieces_ and get a website in the end ;)

If only they had a bit more support ? Bootstrap support is very useful when we are building something.

I am going to try Tailwind for a new project. Let us see how will it goes this time. There is nothing so challenging when we spend enough time understanding it.

Nice to know. I will keep track of this one. I frequently use their docs, so it will not be hard to spot.

Do you know that there are some libraries that provide mobile UI components based on Tailwind CSS ? You can use them while build mobile UI in actual or mockups.

@Abhi That's great, shows Tailwind is starting to gain mass exposure and become a respected framework!

Tailwind is slowly closing in on Bootstrap. They have a lot of fans too. There is a very healthy ecosystem budding around the project with snippets for almost everything.

But I think Bootstrap is a more complete solution because they offer much more ready to use components.

Yeah, Tailwind is a great option for certain things, but Bootstrap is definitely the more robust framework at the moment. Not to say that will last forever, competition breeds innovation and it only takes one innovative product to take the majority of the market share in any tech project!

Last day, I found a good resource for Tailwind components. There were a good number of them, high quality and they were free too.

Do you create component on your own or use pre-made ones?

Hoping to see more component libraries popping based on the new version.
