How many times have you moved your domain across various domain registrars ? Do you think it is good to move as per various offers and convinience ?

Even though I have used a few domain name registrars I have tried not transfer the domain from one provider to another if I can manage it. Why deal with unnecessary headache for a small discount.

People tend to move hosting when it comes to reveal of services - particularly domain registrations as the initial offer is usually very cheap to get your business, then very expensive for a renewal. Cloudflare has recently become a registrar and can accept domain transfers at cost - much cheaper usually then your current provider.

Domain registrar hopping can work in most cases, but migration to a new provider is usually locked for 60 days before your can move again.

Web hosting tends to be much more flexible in the sense that you can pay monthly without contract and move around freely to get the best deals on offer.
