Push notifications

How much do you rely on push notifications to bring back visitors to your platform ? How good is the conversion rate for you ?

It is a big game changer. In mobile, developers can't live without it. Very effective reminder, always was.

As for web, it works more or less the same unless blocked through the browser. If the user choose accept, you can obviously see an increase in activity and engagement on your website.

I used to disable in on almost all the websites I visit through the PC browser. Some of them over do it.

Also for mobiles, if notifications are annoying, we can _mute_ them easily.

I am thinking of switching it ON on a couple of my favourite websites. I used to do that earlier. These days all websites are aggressive in the way they push notifications. Too many of them.

This is a common sentiment. I won't be surprised if Firefox and Chrome will make something like PushMesg blocker in line with adblocker.

Precisely. Due to the bad work a small set of people
