Paid vs Free what is the real difference?

I have seen Paid SEO helping websites to get indexed quickly and gain good traffic within short period of time. So what is the main difference. Do they really have some mantra or trick to boost up the sites presence?

The trick is called " Experience ". They have done it a lot and know what they should do. Which is assuming that you are in the hands of a reliable provider who is not in the business of playing tricks with Google.

I have friends who will help. I seldom take favours though. When you pay people, it is normal that they put more interest, time and dedication. That is only normal human behaviour.

I’m gonna pay for Snapchat ads and see if that helps my site at all.

I don’t like advertising on Facebook they’re stupid and I was abused 2 times just for using Facebook ads, it’s like no one on there knows how to use the platform lol.

I'm not sure I would ever pay for SEO because google is constantly changing its algorithms. The people who claim they can help you only know the basics and even some of those things might not be relevant today. Can someone really promise to get you higher up in page rank on Google? I have my doubts.
