Have you ever used Notepad++?

It's basically a text editor that has extra features to make it more convenient to code. It's a bit more simplistic than other software meant for coding. I like it. ^^

I started with Notepad++

I still love it. But it got lost in time. I am sure it is still competent. But VS Code and other options are widely used these days. I would still use it for basic purpose.

I used it in web design class back in the 2010s. It seemed simple enough to use. However. though, .css files and .htm ones can be typed on on just regular notepad. Nonetheless, that way doesn't have all the gizmos to help you - which is the point, of course, lol.

I tried using Notepad, the older style back in the day. Since I use Microsoft Word often throughout the day, it's just easier for me to keep using Word.
