Logo for phenomlab.com

I'm looking for a logo for my site over at phenomlab.com. The current logo is a font awesome icon but I know there are at least 2 enthusiasts here who may well be up for a challenge. Willing to pay for time and logo rights etc.

We need to start somewhere. A couple of concepts

I visualised it as swinging X. We could still save him.

The second one can be seen as rolled head ( heads will roll ) and there is still the swinging X

This is a simple one, but it will look great with proper background and text.

Can also be assumed as a crown.

Sorry for my tardiness in responding. I think it's important to highlight the actual name of "phenomlab" - in this case, it's two words to make one.

Phenom - "a person of phenomenal ability or promise"

Lab - "a place equipped for experimental study in a science or for testing and analysis"

So in essence, a laboratory that makes phenomenal resources

Hows that for a scope in terms of logo design ?

Do you like this ? It is has the warmth and accomodates the word lab and Phenomenal. What is more phenomenal than the Sun itself

I am the one who is not contributing enough to this thread. Doesn't matter, I have one now

@phenomlab What is your opinion about this one ? We can add a " lab " element to it. But since we got that already covered, I tried to represent your " person " requirement.

I thought not to leave the " lab " behind. Some fine tuning of the " person " area as well

It should look good in small sizes as well.
