I don't know, I feel alone when I blog. Not like all that chatter when we do a forum. It is you and just you talking to yourselves all the time. The only means of interaction is blog comments. That is comforting to a great extent, but blogs are often a one man show when compared to other medium.

Do you think we can successfully run a blog these days ?

I love blogging, but it hard as well. Because you will have to do everything. It is possible to have other authors, but when you do it alone, it has a special touch from your magic.

As for contents, you need to post frequently. If you read frequently, you will get something to write as well. Ideas are floating all around. All you have to do is to open your mind to those pieces of information.

I really like blogging, but writing engaging content is difficult - particularly in my line as it's relatively niche. I've written over a hundred pieces in my time - several on my forum under the Meta tag. Getting an audience with this type of content isn't easy either, which is why I actually prefer forums as the engagement is much higher.

Blogs are just like forums, they evolved from blogs ( possibly ). If you arrange blog comments in exact format as first post / blog, it will look like a forum.

Having a discussion is always better than making a statement.

That is a nice point of view, but wrong. Google sees content from a lot of IPs in forums. Member D starts a thread member T answers it. You, member A has no role in it. When Google see content from diverse IP, demography it is good. Google like big websites. Big in the sense of content and also a lot of members from various countries / states.
