Focusing on the new Edge browser

Microsoft is taking some serious steps with their Chromium based Edge browser. First, it will be auto installed with an update to Windows 10. Second, talk is that you will not be able to uninstall it even if you want to.

Now we have 100 crores ( 1 billion ) Windows 10 devices in play and you are a developer who works with web apps. How prudent will it be to ignore the default browser in Windows 10 ?

Very nice question. Now that most of the above is confirmed, it is time that developers put some time in testing with Chromium Edge too. It may not be dominant yet, but it is good to have a head start.

I will check 2 things first. Does WordPress support it ? What about Bootstrap ? Then a few libraries I use.

I am sure that WordPress and Bootstrap will do it for you. They check compatibility against all major browsers.
