This build has a 2D version as opposed to the teased 3D emojis by Microsoft earlier.

Interesting emojis, though I think MS should just pick one of the popular emoji sets out there and use that as a sort of industry standard. Granted, I'm not super up-to-date on emojis, when I was first starting they were just smilies that came with the software or you downloaded from smiley sites and added to your forums, now they're inbuilt sets from manufacturers or EmojiOne.

It would be nice to have them available for use inside Windows 10 too. I am not sure whether it will be a Windows 11 exclusive ? They are quite nice and attractive. So there is a good chance that a big number of users would like to have them inside Windows 10 too.

It is sad that they are not available outside Windows. Imagine using them inside WhatsApp and other messenger apps.

@Abhi Precisely! All of these different emoji sets, and yet a lot of them aren't available outside of certain ecosystems, and that seems silly. They should be available everywhere!

There are options like Twemoji and OpenMoji which everyone can rely on. They are free and open source. JoyPixels' early version was open source too. Even now they offer PNGs for almost all sizes.

>The new emoji are beginning to roll out as part of today’s optional November 2021 Windows 11 preview release. If you want to gain access to the new emoji, open your Windows Update settings (Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update) and select Check for updates. Once you’ve completed installing the update, hit the Windows key + period key to access the new emoji within the emoji picker.

How are fluent emojis different from just regular old emojis? I don't use emojis all that often. Mostly a smiley face or heart when I do posts. Do people like these versions better than the other ones?

Some do and some don't. Personally, I am a big fan.

They are crafted in 3D and is a big face lift from what Microsoft is currently using.

If you are into woman power, it was drawn by a lady artist. And they are 3D in original.

The same here. But sometimes they do help.

A few people use it everywhere :)

They look good. I just wish there was a standard and they would look the same everywhere.
