What is your first priority as a webmaster ? Are you too worried about it all the time ?

What measures do you take to achieve it ?

I would like to stay online as much as I can. I know that is not a thing everyone wants me to say. But if you are business, and online business, you should be as online as possible. That is simple manners and a critical one if people want to take your project seriously.

Say, I just visited your website and it is down. Happened 3 more times in that week. What will you think about that project ?

Do you employ an online monitoring service ?

While I agree about the up time, I am also worried about page load speed. If it is too slow, that could be a real disaster.

That is something we are forced to do if we want to survive. You get hardly 2-3 seconds to hold your visitors. Something around 5s, you are almost done. Not always, but in most use cases the visitor will move on.

Is it using something inside your server ? Or a 3rd party monitoring service ?

I have been long looking for a good and non spammy 3rd party monitoring service.
